Social bridge: IMPs, Matchpoints and Rubber lounges
Duba Bridge offers social lounges with different ways of keeping score. Share a table with other players or enabled Duba Bots. Learn how results are displayed before choosing a lounge.
Social IMPs lounge
The lounge named IMPs accumulates contract points won by North–South and East–West. The scoreboard displays each partnership’s percentage of the combined points won by both sides.
This social scoreboard does not convert results to the IMP scale or compare the same board across tables.
MP lounge: social Matchpoints
MP Social uses the club’s own scoreboard: every 100 contract points won earns 1 MP, and the opposing partnership loses 98% of that gain. For example, a 420-point contract displays +4.20 MP for the winner and −4.12 MP for the opponents.
This is a social club format. It does not calculate matchpoint percentages by comparing duplicate boards across tables.
Rubber bridge
Rubber uses classic scoring with points above and below the line. Reaching 100 contract points below the line wins a game; two games complete a Rubber.
The Rubber bonus is 700 if the opponents won no game, or 500 if they won one. The scoreboard distinguishes games, part scores and totals.
Choose your next table
For a social game, find partners in the club and enter your preferred lounge. If you already have a partner, invite them to find a table together. You can also use Duba Bots where enabled.
These pages describe the available social lounges. They do not advertise championships or duplicate bridge tournaments with results compared across tables.
