This policy explains how your data is collected, used and protected when you use Duba Bridge and its associated sites. Privacy contact: contacto@dubabridge.cl. Country: Chile.
1. Data we collect
Account data: email address, username and protected sign-in credentials. Profile data: display name, country, language and bridge level, plus city, biography and photo if you choose to add them.
Content and activity: messages, friendships, invitations, reports, table participation, play and results.
Visitor mode requires no email or password. It uses a temporary user to maintain its session and games.
2. How we use data
To manage your account, verify your email, recover access, provide games and social features, handle questions and prevent fraud or abuse. We send emails related to your account and service operation.
Your profile and presence may be visible to other players. General messages are visible in their channel; private messages are intended for their participants. Game data is shared with participants and authorized spectators. Your email and password are not shown in your public profile.
3. Consent and permissions
We process data to provide the service you request, protect its security and meet applicable obligations. Specific permissions are requested separately where required. Accepting the EULA does not authorize advertising or tracking.
The camera or photo picker is used when you choose a profile image. You can manage permissions in device settings and continue using features that do not need them.
4. Supporting services
We do not sell your personal data. Hosting, email and technology services help us operate Duba Bridge. We share the information needed to provide club features with those services. We may also disclose information when legally required.
Reviewing names, profile text and images may require supporting services to process the corresponding text or image. When you request message translation, its content is processed to provide that translation. We do not share your passwords for these features.
We use browsing data, cookies and technical identifiers to understand and improve the service, including the website displayed inside the app. You can manage cookies and storage in your browser.
5. Retention and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and meet applicable obligations. Maintenance provides for deleting unverified registrations after 24 hours and accounts after 180 days of inactivity, with five days’ advance notice for verified members.
Maintenance deletes messages older than 24 hours and hands from closed tables 24 hours after closure. Technical records and backups may be retained for periods needed for security, continuity and legal compliance.
Delete your account in Settings → Delete account. Your profile, messages and associated data are deleted; shared games may remain without identifying you. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. If you cannot sign in, contact contacto@dubabridge.cl.
6. Security and international processing
We use encrypted connections, password protection and access controls. No system is infallible; report suspected unauthorized access. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Some providers may process data outside your country. Processing must respect applicable safeguards and obligations.
7. Your rights and contact
You can view and update your profile, request access, correction or deletion and exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may verify your identity to protect your account. Never send passwords or access codes.
Duba Bridge is a social club intended for adults. Contact us if you discover a child’s information provided without the required authorization so that the case can be reviewed.
8. Policy changes
Updates will be published at this address with their date and version. Changes needing renewed consent will be explained through the appropriate channel before that processing begins.
